WATT? Why? How?

Answers to everything on your mind

Can I install the system myself, even without any technical experience? Pfeil
Absolutely. Our installation kit and clear step-by-step guide make it easy for anyone to fit—many customers have successfully set up their own system without professional help.
Will my camper unit remain fully functional after fitting the solar system? Pfeil
Yes. Your camper stays fully operational. Any minor adjustments—such as correctly connecting the negative terminal—are clearly explained in our guide and supported by our customer service.
Can I still use my solar panel if I already have a roof rack on my vehicle? Pfeil
Yes. Our solar panels are fully compatible with existing roof racks. If you have specific positioning needs, we offer custom brackets or dedicated positioning cables as accessories.
Does the solar kit work with all common vehicle batteries? Pfeil
While we recommend LiFePO₄ batteries, they are not mandatory. The kit works seamlessly with all factory-installed battery types, such as AGM. In the solar controller app, you can select and adjust charging parameters based on your battery type. The battery specification is clearly indicated on the battery itself.
Can I expand or customise my solar panel later on? Pfeil
Yes. Our panels feature a modular design. You can expand, reduce, adjust, remove or re-install them at any time to match your evolving power needs.
Can I remove the system temporarily, for example if I need the space for a ski box? Pfeil
Yes. Thanks to our flexible design, you can quickly and easily detach the system to free up roof space. The cables and charge controller can stay mounted safely inside.
Are the cables in the system robust and safe, even if they’re constantly in motion? Pfeil
Yes. We use continuous, high-quality cables without any soldered joints or weak connections. This guarantees top-level safety and durability, even under constant movement.
Are the cables used truly optimal for automotive use? Pfeil
Absolutely. For external use, we employ specially designed automotive-grade cables that are UV-, acid-, heat- and abrasion-resistant, while remaining highly flexible. Inside the vehicle, we use only certified automotive-standard cables of proven quality.
Is my vehicle’s paint sufficiently protected, and will there be no annoying rattling noises? Pfeil
Yes. We pad all contact surfaces with high-grade rubber to ensure lasting paint protection—eliminating any rattles. Your vehicle’s paint remains fully safeguarded.
Can I still go through a car wash without damaging my solar system? Pfeil
Yes. Our durable solar panels are car-wash safe. They protect your vehicle’s roof optimally while still ensuring reliable ventilation.
What’s included in a set? Pfeil
Each kit—150 Wp, 300 Wp or 450 Wp—contains all coordinated components needed for plug-and-play installation (tools not included). You get solar panels, roof mounting hardware, a pre-mounted charge controller on a model-specific bracket, and cables from the panels to the controller and on to the vehicle battery.
Does a NatureWatt Core kit fit my VW California? Pfeil
Our NatureWatt Core kits are designed for all T5/T6/T6.1 Californias. Depending on your model, the kit includes bespoke brackets for the charge controller and model-matched cable lengths. On the Beach, the controller mounts near the driver’s seat console; on the Coast/Ocean, it’s installed in the left rear cabinet. This keeps your interior neat for every variant.
How is the charge controller (MPPT) mounted? Pfeil
We supply a custom bracket tailored to your van’s configuration. The controller attaches to existing screw points for a secure, fixed position—no drilling or adhesive required.
