What defines us?
Our story, our passion – your independence.
NatureWatt was born from our adventures in our VW buses. We love travelling independently. To us, that means never relying on external power sources but harnessing solar energy. What began as an idea among friends quickly grew into a project. We developed a modular solar system suitable for everyday use and travel. Whether a ski box, roof rack or panels, the roof needed to remain flexible and always expandable. In our workshop between Munich and the Bavarian Alps, we built our first prototypes and carried out countless tests. Together, we refined every detail until our solar kits met the high standards we set as travellers and VW bus enthusiasts. NatureWatt is us: Andreas and Christoph.
Andreas is an industrial engineer working in the automotive industry in production and development. For over 15 years, he has brought vehicles safely from the design phase to the road. His hobby is landscape photography. With his T6 California, he embarks on extended tours through the Alps or explores remote destinations to capture their beauty.
Christoph studied industrial engineering and has over 10 years of cross-industry experience in production, product development and engineering. Vehicle construction is Christoph’s passion—he knows every bolt on a VW bus. His personal favourite project: converting a T5.2 transporter with an original California roof into his very own off-road dream.
Our drive? Freedom through self-sufficient, sustainable energy. We want our products to bring joy to you as much as they do to us. At the same time, we never compromise on quality and safety.
